You will be able to change product descriptions, event dates, personnel names etc. If you have a scanner you can easily upload new pictures to your site. Free Technical Support If you decide to work on your own web site, Big Planet’s technical support is available at no cost; even the phone call is toll-free. Reliable Web sites are hosted on servers. Like any other computer, a server can fail. The older the equipment or the poorer it is maintained, the higher the failure rate. When your server is down, no one can access your web site. Big Planet invests regularly in new servers and back-up servers to keep your site up and running. We will register a domain name for you at no charge for our services. And the registration fee is currently $28.95 for 2 years. (Some registrars charge $70.00). Your domain name is then pointed to Big Planet for a one-time charge of $25. The monthly hosting charge at Big Planet does not change when you have you own domain name. It is still $24.95/month. |
